Getting Started
How do I invite people to contribute?
There are two ways you can invite people to contribute to your memory book project.
The first method is to add emails to our automated system. This automated system sends out an initial invitation to contributors and includes the message you crafted to recipients when you created the project. If you set a project deadline, the automated system also sends out reminders to contributors at specified intervals leading up to the deadline.
The second method is for you to copy the link to the collection page and share it with contributors, whether it‘s through email, text, or social media. You‘ll want to craft a message to recipients when you send the link. More importantly, you‘ll want to send reminders to nudge folks to contribute. People procrastinate, so don‘t forget to remind them!

What is the max amount of contributors per project?
The maximum amount of contributors for book printing is 300. Assuming that each contributor submits one page of content. There is no maximum amount of contributors if you only want to receive the PDF of your book.
Why do you collect emails when people contribute?
When people contribute content, we use their email to send them a confirmation email with a link to edit their contribution in case they need to make any changes before the memory book gets produced. We will not sell any user information or spam any accounts.
Can I edit what people contribute?
Yes! As the organizer of your collaborative memory book, you have full control over what goes in the final version of your memory book and act as quality control. You are able to edit any content that is contributed to your memory book. In doing so, you can make sure that your memory book is perfect!
Do people see what others contribute?
As the organizer, you have control over what collaborators see. You can allow collaborators to share just their names when they contribute, or their name and their contributions. You‘re able to turn off sharing for privacy, but often it’s great inspiration for others!

What is the quality of the book?
Our hardcover memory books are produced with a high quality print with a smooth matte finish. The pages are printed on a high quality print paper boasting vibrant colours with a silk-finished texture. Whether you are planning a birthday memory book, a retirement memory book, or another book of letters and photos, ours are sure to please!
What is the maximum number of pages for a book?
The maximum amount of pages a single book can have is 300 pages. However, if you have more than 300 pages in a project, we can split your project into 300 page portions.
Can I split my book into two books?
Yes, you can split your book into two books. Please contact us in advance of purchase to have that set up for your book.
How long does the PDF take to arrive in my email inbox?
The time it takes for the PDF to arrive in your email inbox varies depending on how big your book is. The PDF of your book typically arrives in your email inbox within minutes of requesting, but can take an hour or more if additional processing is necessary.
Pricing & Ordering
How much does a memory book cost?
Our hardcover memory books start at $20 and PDFs are available for free! Additional details can be found on our pricing page.
I ordered my book already, but I needed to make some last minute changes. Will those changes be applied to the book after I ordered?
Unfortunately, at the time of order, we submit that version of the book to our printing operations to start printing. Any changes made after ordering the book will not show up in the book.
If changes are necessary for your memory book, you must quickly contact our support team to cancel the order. The cancellation of your order is likely not possible once printing has started. Once the initial order has been cancelled, you can reorder your book with the changes you have made.
Please double check your book before ordering.
How long does the PDF take to arrive in my email inbox?
The time it takes for the PDF to arrive in your email inbox varies depending on how big your book is. The PDF of your book typically arrives in your email inbox within minutes of requesting, but can take an hour or more if additional processing is necessary.
Shipping Information
How long does it take to print and deliver a book?
It depends on the shipping option you choose at checkout. All timelines below are calendar days, counted from the day you place your order.
For books shipped within the US:
Standard shipping: most books arrive within 10 to 14 calendar days of ordering. Order at least 14 calendar days before you need the book in hand.
Expedited shipping: your book arrives within 7 to 8 calendar days of ordering. Order at least 8 calendar days before you need the book in hand.
Either way, more time is always safer, especially during the holiday season, when we suggest allowing a few extra days. The exact delivery date range for each shipping option is shown at checkout before you pay; most books arrive well within that range.
Do you have expedited shipping?
Yes, if you are shipping within the continental USA. Expedited orders arrive within 7 to 8 calendar days of ordering. The exact delivery date and price for each shipping option are shown at checkout before you pay.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally to over 200 countries. International orders typically arrive within 10 to 21 calendar days of ordering, and the exact estimate for your country is shown at checkout. We recommend ordering at least three weeks before you need the book in hand.
Privacy, Security, & Support
How secure is my information on Newlywords?
Our website security includes a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with an SHA256 certificate and stored on an Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) with the highest security settings. The length in which we store it can be decided by the organizer of the memory book project.
For memory book projects, organizers can set a password-protected page for the collection page if they want added security to prevent other people from contributing to the project.
